Who We Are

Access to the arts should be available to all.

Since 1960, we’ve worked to support anchor institutions, artists, teachers, festivals, and public art. Today, we combine that work with efforts to strengthen the Greater Greensboro area's art ecosystem.

As a community-supported, non-profit organization, we are the largest public and private alliance dedicated to sustaining our local arts economy.

Our Mission

We cultivate an inclusive, sustainable, and vibrant community through the support, promotion, and expansion of the arts.

Our Vision

Our community will be the place where art thrives.

HOW WE ACHIEVE OUR GOALS

We connect creatives, arts organizations, government and policymakers, businesses, and the community; empower the arts through funding and resources; and promote art experiences in our region. Four core values guide this work:

Be Forward Thinking

Be Accountable
Ensure Access to the Arts for All
Uplift All Voices
