Advocacy
Arts and culture generate over $204.3 million in annual economic activity in our area. Here’s how we continue to advocate for them both in Greater Greensboro.

GUILFORD COUNTY ARTS & CULTURE IMPACT DATA
The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro is proud to be a County Captain for ARTS Day! ARTS Day is an annual gathering of art and action that draws hundreds of North Carolinians to learn, network, celebrate and speak with one voice on behalf of the arts.
As a County Captain, we represent Guilford County and our surrounding communities during the ARTS Day conference and legislative visits.

Sign-Up for ARTS Day: Legislative Day
Arts Day Conference is on May 21, 2024 and Legislative Day is on May 22, 2024. If you plan to attend the conference, there will be a fee that has yet to be released. You can visit the ARTS Day website to learn more.
However, there is NO charge for legislative day! We need you, your volunteers, board members, or staff members to come share how the state’s funding empowers us to provide arts to our community. Sign-up below to let us know you are coming. Join us!
ArtsNC
We partner with ArtsNC, the statewide advocacy organization for the arts, to call for equity and access to the arts for all North Carolinians. This work enables us to partner with other cities in our state to unify and connect North Carolina’s arts communities and foster arts leadership.
