ArtsGreensboro announced today the opening of the 2020 Project and Mission Support Grant programs. The Project Grant application deadline is 11pm on Friday, December 27, 2019 and is for projects that can be completed by June 30, 2020. These six month competitive grants are for arts organizations or individual artists (working with a fiscal sponsor) with arts projects commencing on or after January 1, 2020 and ending by June 30, 2020. Information on this program may be found at www.artsgreensboro.org/amplify/psg.
The Mission Support Grant application deadline is December 23, 2019 and is a competitive grant program whereby ArtsGreensboro invests in high-quality arts experiences that further its core values of access, inclusion, and cultural equity. Mission Support Grants are intended to support the creation and/or presentation of programming with high artistic merit in a wide range of disciplines, increase access to the arts, activate the community and enrich the varied cultural vitality of Greater Greensboro, and offer strong arts education experiences that inspire and engage students and life-long learners.
ArtsGreensboro supports more than 50 arts organizations and projects each year, connects the public to arts and entertainment, and financially supports the area arts scene through four distinct grant programs: Mission Support, Project Support, Teacher Art Grants and Regional Artists Project Grants. These grant programs are funded in part by the North Carolina Arts Council’s Grassroots Program, and from foundations, corporations and individual donors through ArtsGreensboro’s annual ArtsFund Campaign.
