Celebrating local talent, the Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County and The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro (The ACGG) are thrilled to unveil the recipients of the 2024 Artist Support Grants. A total of $62,000 has been awarded to 45 artists across Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, and Randolph counties, investing financial support into their creative careers.
These grants signify more than just dollar signs; they represent a commitment to the long-term ability of creatives to thrive locally. Spanning visual arts, literature, film, dance, music, performing arts, and spoken word, this grant cycle drew in a competitive pool of over 98 applications. Ranging from $1,150 to $1,670, these grants serve as pivotal catalysts for the artists, breathing life into their creative visions.

Jiwon Ha, a Guilford County-based dancer, expressed her enthusiasm, “I am thrilled to be selected for the Artist Support Grant. This support is more than just funding; it’s a recognition of the artistry in dance and cultural expression.”
Here, you can explore the list of Guilford County grantees. Beyond the numbers, these grants symbolize a meaningful investment in the small businesses of local artists, growing and building sustainable creative communities.
